Supercuts senior discount and prices in 2026

By the SupercutsPricess editorial team · Last reviewed

Quick answer

Most Supercuts salons charge seniors about $18 to $24 for a haircut in 2026, roughly $2 to $5 less than the adult price of $22 to $30.

The usual age is 65, though some salons use 60 or 62. You have to ask for it. These are estimates, and each salon sets its own rule.

Independent site. We aren’t connected to Supercuts or Regis Corporation. The official site is supercuts.com.

The Supercuts senior discount isn’t a national program with a card or a code. It’s a lower menu price that most local owners choose to post.

Supercuts, the walk-in hair salon chain owned by Regis Corporation, had 1,648 franchised salons out of 1,744 on March 31, 2026, per Regis.

So the honest answer to most senior questions is “it depends on your salon.” We’ll give you the usual pattern and tell you what to ask.

Supercuts prices for seniors

ServiceSenior estimateRegular adult estimate
Haircut$18 – $24$22 – $30
Haircut + shampooAbout $23 – $34$28 – $38
Beard trim add-on$10 – $18$10 – $18
Men’s gray blending$25 – $45$25 – $45
Root touch-up$35 – $55$35 – $55

Notice the pattern. In the price lists we checked, the senior rate covered the haircut, while add-ons and color stayed at full price.

What age gets the Supercuts senior discount?

Age 65 is the most common cutoff in the price guides and salon listings we checked. A smaller number of salons start the senior price at 60 or 62.

We couldn’t find an official national age rule on supercuts.com, and we’d rather say so than guess. Your salon’s board or a phone call settles it.

Some third-party discount sites list a flat dollar amount off. We haven’t been able to confirm those numbers with Supercuts, so treat them with caution.

How to ask for the senior price

The senior price isn’t added by the system on its own. If you don’t mention it, you’ll likely pay the $22 to $30 adult rate.

  1. Check the salon’s menu first. Look for a senior line in the Supercuts app during check-in or on the board by the front desk.
  2. Choose the senior haircut if it’s listed. If the app doesn’t show one, pick the regular cut and plan to ask in person.
  3. Mention your age at the desk. Say it before the cut starts, not at the register afterward.
  4. Carry a photo ID. Most stylists won’t ask, but it helps if you look younger than your age.

A phone call works too, and it’s often faster for anyone who doesn’t use apps. Ask about the senior price, the age and the current wait in one call.

The free Supercuts Hair Salon Check-in app is on the App Store and Google Play. Our check-in guide walks through it.

Is there a Supercuts senior day?

We haven’t found a national Supercuts senior day. The price lists we checked show the senior rate as an everyday menu price, not a one-day deal.

Some franchise owners may run a local senior Tuesday or Wednesday promo, since weekdays are slow. Call your salon, because this changes by owner.

If your salon does both, the weekday deal is usually the better one. Weekday mornings are also when wait times are shortest, often under 15 minutes.

This is the part people get wrong most often. A blog post from 2019 saying “Tuesday is senior day” tells you nothing about your salon in 2026.

Old coupon pages rarely get updated. The only reliable source is the salon itself, by phone or through the app.

Supercuts prices for seniors near me

A map search for “Supercuts prices for seniors near me” won’t show the senior rate. Open the salon in the app or call, since the owner sets it.

Location changes the number. Our city estimates put senior cuts near $18 to $21 in Houston and $23 to $27 in New York City.

Stacking the senior price with rewards

Supercuts Rewards is free, and members earn 1 point per dollar plus 50 points for joining, per the September 2024 launch notice.

At a $20 senior price, 100 points ($5 off) takes about three visits. Points expire one year after you earn them, so monthly visitors get the most out of it.

Whether a salon lets you use a reward and the senior rate on the same visit is up to the salon. Our Supercuts coupon guide has more.

Senior discount questions

Does the Supercuts senior discount need an AARP card?

Not that we know of. The senior price is based on age at most salons. A photo ID is enough if anyone asks.

Can a spouse under 65 get the senior price too?

Usually not. The senior rate is for the guest who meets the age rule. A younger spouse pays the regular adult price.

Does the senior price apply to a shampoo and set?

Most Supercuts salons don’t list a shampoo and set. Call your salon to ask if they do one and what seniors pay for it.

Is the senior price lower than Great Clips?

It’s close. Both chains let local owners set senior prices. Compare the two salons nearest you, or read our Supercuts vs Great Clips page.

Can I get a senior haircut on Sunday?

Usually yes, if the salon is open. Some Supercuts close on Sundays, so check the hours first.
