Independent site. SupercutsPricess.com has no connection to Supercuts or Regis Corporation, and we don’t list salon addresses. The official site is supercuts.com.

Supercuts, the walk-in hair salon chain owned by Regis Corporation, doesn’t publish a Los Angeles price list. Local franchise owners set it.

Franchisees ran 1,648 of the chain’s 1,744 salons on March 31, 2026, per the Regis Q3 fiscal 2026 report. So two LA salons can post different prices.

Why a Supercuts haircut costs more in Los Angeles

Wages are the biggest reason, and LA has more than one wage floor. Which one a salon follows depends on the city it sits in, not the ZIP code people call “LA.”

Minimum wage in Los Angeles-area jurisdictions, 2026
AreaHourly minimumSource
California (state floor)$16.90 from January 1, 2026CA Labor Commissioner
City of Los Angeles$18.42 from July 1, 2026 (up $0.55)LA Office of Wage Standards
Unincorporated LA County$18.47 from July 1, 2026 (was $17.81)LA County DCBA
Santa Monica$18.47 from July 1, 2026CalChamber
Pasadena$18.57 from July 1, 2026CalChamber
Malibu$17.91 from July 1, 2026CalChamber

The City of LA rate is $1.52 an hour above the state’s $16.90. Over a 2,080-hour work year, that’s about $3,160 more per full-time stylist.

A city with no local wage law still has to pay at least $16.90. Salons there may charge a dollar or two less, but rent can cancel that out.

Rent is the other half. A salon on a busy Westside boulevard pays more per square foot than one in a strip center farther out, and the menu shows it.

We don’t publish salon addresses, because they change and we can’t verify each one. What we can say is how prices tend to line up across the region.

Salons inside City of LA limits, from the San Fernando Valley to San Pedro, all follow the $18.42 floor. Expect the $27 to $32 adult range there.

Santa Monica and Pasadena have floors above the city’s, at $18.47 and $18.57. If a salon exists in those cities, the top of the range is the safer guess.

Farther-out suburbs in LA County and the Inland Empire sometimes run $1 to $3 lower. That’s a pattern, not a promise, so check the salon before you drive.

Mall salons are their own case. They keep mall hours, which our Supercuts hours guide covers.

Supercuts Los Angeles deals and discounts

The one deal that works at every participating LA salon is Supercuts Rewards. It launched on September 26, 2024, per the Supercuts announcement.

You get 1 point per dollar and 50 points for joining. 100 points is $5 off, 200 is $10 off and 400 is a free haircut.

Here’s the LA math. At $30 a cut, the 350 points left after the bonus take about 12 visits, so a monthly regular gets a free cut in roughly a year.

Watch the clock, though. Points expire 1 year after you earn them, so someone who comes every 8 weeks will lose some before reaching 400.

Printed coupons and mailers do show up in LA, but a franchise owner decides whether to honor them. Our Supercuts coupon guide lists what to look for.

Seniors should ask at check-in. The senior price isn’t applied automatically, and the age line (often 65) is set by the owner.

Supercuts vs Great Clips in Los Angeles

Great Clips runs about $1 to $4 below Supercuts nationally for a basic adult cut, and that gap seems to hold in LA. Both chains pay the same local wage floors.

Supercuts prices near me, how to find a salon in LA and check its menu

LA traffic makes the wrong salon expensive in time. Check the price and the wait before you get on the 405.

  1. Open the Supercuts app or supercuts.com. The free app is on the App Store and Google Play.
  2. Search your LA ZIP code. Try your home and work ZIP codes, since the closest salon isn’t always the quickest.
  3. Compare wait times. Each salon shows its current estimated wait.
  4. Start a check-in to see services. Many salons show their services and prices before you confirm.
  5. Call if no price shows. Ask for the adult, kids or senior price and any add-ons.
  6. Mention Rewards and senior pricing. Say it at check-in so it’s applied to your bill.

Supercuts Los Angeles FAQs

Did Supercuts prices in LA go up after July 1, 2026?

Some may have. The City of LA wage rose $0.55 to $18.42 on July 1, 2026, and owners often adjust menus after wage steps. Ask your salon.

Is a Supercuts in Santa Monica priced like one in LA?

Usually close. Santa Monica’s $18.47 wage floor is slightly above the City of LA’s $18.42, so expect the upper end of the LA range.

Can I use Supercuts Rewards points from another state at an LA salon?

Rewards is a nationwide program, so points are tied to your account, not one salon. Participation can vary, so confirm at check-in.

How much should I tip at a Supercuts in Los Angeles?

Most people tip 15% to 20%. On a $30 cut that’s about $4.50 to $6, and more if the stylist spent extra time on long hair.

Is Supercuts cheaper than a Los Angeles barbershop?

Often, yes. Many independent LA barbershops charge more for a fade than a $27 to $32 Supercut, but prices vary widely by shop.
