Where to buy Supercuts gift cards

There are three real options. We’d buy at the salon you or the recipient actually uses, because that removes any doubt about whether the card works there.

Buying a Supercuts e-gift card

The Supercuts e-gift card runs through Buyatab’s Supercuts page, a gift card platform many restaurants and salons use. You pick an amount and email it.

We couldn’t load the full terms from that page in September 2026. Read the amount limits and acceptance rules on the checkout screen before you pay.

Grocery stores and gift card racks

A Supercuts card sold by Gift Card Mall shows up on Uber Eats as a $20 card with no expiration date.

Racks at stores like Kroger or Safeway change with the season. We couldn’t confirm a Supercuts card at any named chain, so check the rack or the store’s gift card site.

Discount resale sites

CardBear tracked CardCash selling Supercuts cards at about 6% off. On a $50 card you’d save $3.

That’s a small saving for a real risk. Resold cards can be drained before they reach you, so only buy where there’s a written guarantee (CardCash listed 45 days).

Giftly is something else

Giftly says its gift is “not issued, endorsed, or accepted” by the merchant named on it. The recipient cashes it out and pays Supercuts with their own card.

Can you use a Supercuts gift card at any salon?

Probably, but not guaranteed. Of 1,744 Supercuts salons on March 31, 2026, 1,648 were franchised, per Regis’s Q3 fiscal 2026 report.

The Gift Card Mall terms say the card works at “participating Supercuts salons.” That word “participating” is the part to notice, since it means a salon could opt out.

Some franchise groups also run their own gift card sales. A Supercuts salon at a Walmart plaza advertised 20% off gift cards on Facebook.

A card from a local promo like that may be tied to that owner’s salons. Ask before you buy if the recipient lives in another city.

SmartStyle and Cost Cutters are separate brands. Don’t assume a Supercuts card works there, even though Regis has ties to both.

How to check a Supercuts gift card balance

The number on the back of your card is the most reliable one. GiftCardGranny and CardBear both list (877) 887-3447 as the Supercuts balance line.

1. Find the card number and PIN. Scratch off the PIN strip if your card has one, or open the e-gift email.
2. Call the number on the back of the card. Follow the prompts and enter the card number when asked.
3. Or ask at a Supercuts salon. The front desk can swipe the card and read the balance before your cut.
4. Write the balance on the card. A pencil note saves you a call next time.

We didn’t find a working balance tool on supercuts.com in September 2026. The GiftCardGranny page links out to one, so type your card number only on a site you trust.

Do Supercuts gift cards expire?

The Gift Card Mall version says no expiration date. Federal rules back that up for most store cards.

The CFPB says gift card money generally can’t expire for at least five years. Dormancy fees are only allowed after 12 months without use.

How much should you put on a Supercuts gift card?

Match it to a real visit. These amounts use our 2026 estimates and add a 20% tip, since the tip usually comes out of the card too.

A gift card isn’t a discount, so pair it with the ideas in our Supercuts coupon and rewards guide.

For a kid or a senior, $25 covers a cut at $18 to $24 with a small tip. For a man who gets a beard trim too, $50 is safer.

A $100 card fits a color client. All-over color runs about $45 to $80, and root touch-ups about $35 to $55, before tip.
