Supercuts haircut price by style and length

Quick answer

The Supercuts haircut price is about $22 to $30 in 2026 for most styles, from a buzz cut to a bob. Long or thick hair can run $28 to $45.

The style rarely changes the price. Hair length and add-ons like shampoo or a blow-dry do. All figures are estimates.

A fade takes more clipper work than a buzz cut. At most Supercuts salons, you’ll still pay the same Supercut price for both, and that surprises people.

Supercuts, the walk-in hair salon chain owned by Regis Corporation, prices by guest type and hair length. Franchise owners run 1,648 of its 1,744 salons and set each menu.

Buzz cut, fade and taper prices

A buzz cut is the fastest cut on the menu, often done in 10 minutes. Most salons still charge the $22 to $28 men’s price for it.

A few franchise owners list a clipper-only price a couple of dollars lower. It isn’t common, and we can’t tell you which salons do it without a call.

Fades are the interesting case. A clean skin fade with three or four guard lengths can take 30 minutes, three times a buzz cut, for the same money.

That makes a fade the best value on the Supercuts menu, in our view. The trade-off is skill, since fade quality depends a lot on the stylist.

If you find a stylist who does a good fade, request them in the app every visit. A taper, which is a softer fade at the neckline, prices the same.

Beard work is separate. Add $10 to $18 for a trim, and see our men’s haircut and beard prices for more.

Layers, bobs, bangs and long hair

A bob, pixie or short layered cut is usually $24 to $32. Layers don’t cost extra, and neither do face-framing pieces in front.

Length is the line that moves the price. Past the shoulders, many salons charge $28 to $45, since a long layered cut takes 40 minutes or more.

Bangs cut during a full haircut are included. A bang trim on its own runs $8 to $12, and it takes about 5 minutes.

Our women’s haircut and styling prices page covers blowouts and updos.

Supercuts price for curly hair

Curly hair usually falls under the long or thick hair rate, $28 to $45. Supercuts doesn’t list a separate curly cut on most menus we’ve seen.

Many stylists cut curls wet, which may mean a shampoo add-on of $5 to $10. Ask if you’d rather have a dry cut, and whether the stylist is comfortable with it.

What’s included in a Supercut?

A standard Supercut includes a quick consultation, the haircut itself and a light finish. That finish is usually a spray, a comb-through or a quick dry.

A shampoo isn’t included. Neither is a full blow-dry or hot-tool styling. Those show up as add-ons on your bill.

How to check the haircut price at your Supercuts

  1. Open the Supercuts app or website. Search your ZIP code and pick your salon.
  2. Start a check-in. Choose the haircut and any add-ons to see which services that salon lists.
  3. Call if no price shows. Ask for the price for your hair length and style, as well as the base cut.
  4. Confirm at the desk. Repeat the price before the stylist starts, especially for long or curly hair.

Supercuts haircut price FAQs

Does Supercuts charge more for a design or hair tattoo?

Often yes, if the salon does them at all. Simple lines may be free, but detailed designs are priced by the salon, so ask first.

Is a haircut cheaper if I only want the back cleaned up?

Many salons have a neck trim for about $6 to $12. It’s meant for a quick tidy between full cuts, not a style change.

Do twins or siblings get a discount at Supercuts?

There’s no national sibling discount. Each child pays the kids price, though a local owner may run family offers.

Can I get a Supercut on wet hair from home?

Yes. Arriving with clean, damp hair lets many stylists do a wet cut without charging the shampoo add-on.

Does a fix within a week cost extra at Supercuts?

Policies vary by salon. Many owners will look at a problem cut again if you come back within a few days, so call and ask.

About this price data

These haircut prices are estimates we built from published price guides, salon listings and customer reports, cross-checked on September 15, 2026.

Style-level prices shift more than base prices, since each owner decides what counts as long hair. Your salon’s board has the final word.
